The OLOS Association’s team is pleased to announce a new DevPro Research Data Management training, dedicated to Data Stewardship.

Description:

During the morning, the place of the Data Steward position within institutions, both private and public, will be discussed in an interactive way. Participants will have the opportunity to question, within their own institutions

• what internal policies to refer to, or, if not, what the legal framework is,
• what are the differences and similarities with other actors (Data Protection Officer, Data Scientist, Data Manager, etc.),
• what skills are required.

During the afternoon, the tasks of the Data Steward and the tools she.he will use will be discussed in groups for each stage of the research data life cycle.

Objectives:

At the end of the training, participants will know:

• What is the place of the Data Steward in their own institutions.
• What tasks the Data Steward has to perform.
• How to know where and from whom to get information about data stewardship in their institution.
