SWISS RESEARCH DATA DAY 2024: The Challenges of the Economical and Ecological Research Data Archiving

The OLOS Association, in collaboration with the Geneva School of Business Administration (HEG-GE, Switzerland) and the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons (FHGR), is delighted to have hosted the fourth edition of the Swiss Research Data Day (SRDD 2024).

This one-day, in-person conference took place at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons in Chur, Switzerland. The event addressed the economic and environmental challenges of archiving research data. Participants engaged in  discussions on innovative, cost-effective data storage solutions, ecological requirements in data management, and the importance of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and CARE (Collective benefit, Authority to control, Responsibility, Ethics) principles in data practices.

Thank you everyone for taking an active part in the Swiss Research Data Day!
